Jiahui Health CEO: thumbs up for China’s most open city

This approval saved a lot of time for the hospital’s construction and also guaranteed the quality of international medical service. Such a solution was also approved by the foreign design and construction team, even causing positive impacts in the domestic industry. The health department of Shanghai broke from conformity and actively introduced international medical experience, winning the applause of many investors. In regard of Jiahui’s decision to launch its enterprise from Shanghai, Hsiang is very proud of this most open city of China.

John Hsiang was born in Hong Kong and emigrated to the USA in the 70s. Upon first visiting mainland China in the 1990s, he was at first disappointed to see Lujiazui, the test field of reform and opening up. His initial response was: “That’s it?” But over the years, China’s rapid growth has led Hsiang, who lives in Seattle, USA, to see the progress of China. “At first, Chinese doctors who came to the US were at least associate chief physicians but gradually more junior doctors came to the US and later no chief physicians visited here. This means that China’s medical technology and its doctors’ standards are rising quickly.”
